Constituent Authorization
This is the core user agreement for sending paid civic-action requests. It should be checked by a qualified attorney before public launch.
Authorization
By submitting a request, you authorize Signal Desk to prepare a fax or message on your behalf for the issue and representative you selected.
Accuracy
You confirm that your name, contact information, city, state, ZIP code, representative selection, and request details are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
No Impersonation
You may not submit a request using another person’s identity, contact information, address, or authorization. Signal Desk may reject any request that appears inaccurate, abusive, automated without authorization, or impersonating another person.
Lawful Civic Use
You may not submit threats, calls for violence, harassment, intimidation, doxing, or illegal instructions. Signal Desk may reject, hold, preserve, or report requests that appear threatening, unlawful, or unsafe.
Safety and Delivery Check
Signal Desk may block, revise, or hold unsafe, abusive, inaccurate, invalid, unpaid, or unauthorized requests before delivery.
Fax Delivery
Fax delivery may depend on third-party fax services, office fax availability, busy signals, invalid numbers, provider outages, and recipient equipment. Signal Desk may retry eligible failures, record attempt timestamps, email delivery or failure status, and mark invalid-recipient failures as not charged until a verified fax number is available. Signal Desk cannot guarantee that an office reads or acts on a fax.
